The number of people presumed dead in Indonesia from the December 26, 2004 tsunami is now 237, 071, according to the Indonesian Ministry of Information and Communication.
Bodies are being found daily as workers remove debris from destroyed areas of the country.
The other countries that were hit the hardest from the tsunami are (death toll in parentheses):
Sri Lanka – 30,957
India – 10,749
Thailand – 5,393
