The death toll for the Java tsunami is now at 668, with and additional 287 reported as missing and over 74,000 residents displaced.
Over 100 bodies have been recovered during the last 72 hours in parts of the Ciamis district. Workers have been diligently searching the hard-hit area, and have been uncovering bodies beneath a collapsed bridge and other debris.
Among the dead were five foreigners.
Military personnel, police officers, and other workers will continue searching for bodies, both on land and in the sea.
We continue to pray for everyone who has been affected in any way by this tsunami.
We love you.
And may God grant eternal rest and peace to the angels we lost in the Jave tsunami.
